The department retreat and scientific advisory board meeting was held at Ocean Edge Resort on Cape Cod November 4th and 5th. The agenda consisted of short scientific talks from faculty, poster sessions by students and post-docs and a keynote talk from Dr. Erin O’Shea of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, University of California, San Francisco, a member of the scientific advisory board.
